Why did you start making body butters?

Looking good isn't our only priority here at SNY. We'd like to make you feel good too! We developed both a natural and cosmetic version of hand-whipped body butters that either give you a summer-time fine tan, or a light yet powerful fun fragrance in an array of delicious scents for all occasions. Our Orginal Butters come unscented for sensitive skin and children. We also customize scents so whatever you'd like, we can make. The cosmetic version which is our Glow Butter comes with a Mica Powder-tinted glittery glow that gives a natural-looking tan that extra pop. Men, we didn't forget you either, check out our coming, Men's scents which make a great staple product in your beard-care.
Our Ingredients
Amara by SNY (Styles New York) is a full body and hair product that is all about providing and locking in moisture in a compact and light-weight formula. You can look forward to the Aloe Vera juice for its ability to hydrate and fight against inflammation along with the Argan Oil to help fight free radicals with its anti-oxidant properties. With Shea Butter as its anti-aging base, our formulas rich with a plethora moisturizers such as Vitamin E Oil, for the reduction and healing of scars. The nourishment of your hair and skin that the Avocado Oil provides comes with quite a few nutrients including potassium, which is great for easy absorption. If you have especially dry skin, then you’ll be glad to know that we’ve incorporated Jojoba Oil and Sweet Almond Oil for your special needs. Even though our butter is jam-packed with all this goodness, we still had to top it off with Castor Oil to fight off bacterial overgrowth as an antimicrobial ingredient and glycerin as one last line of defense to not only pull in moisture from the air, but to also form a barrier to seal it in. As we’ve mentioned, this is also a hair butter, so feel free to apply it to your twist and braid outs, or even as a last step to your usual wash-and-go routine. Gents, you can even use this on your facial hair to soften it and help it grow!
Directions
For those purchasing a cosmetic butter or just the accessories kit, use the mascara wand for hair application in specific areas, the blending sponge for body application. Use the eyeshadow wand for application to the face. Please do a patch test first to determine if this product causes skin irritation. Discontinue use if so. For use as a deep conditioner, put on wet hair for 5 minutes or more if you would like to follow your established regimen. Scented products tend to cause irritation to the face as that skin is more sensitive so application to the face is generally discouraged. Depending on your type of hair, leaving the product to dry in is completely up to you. Cosmetic butters do transfer so beware to apply after dressing completely. If you chose hand application be sure to use hand sanitizing wipes or gel to thoroughly clean hands.
